I first starting working as a Camera Supervisor in 1986 at BBC Television Centre. I was able to supervise a wide range of programmes, from simple talk shows and quiz programmes through to complex live programmes such as Wogan and Top of the Pops.
When I moved to outside broadcasts in 1995 I continued to work as a camera supervisor, most notably for five years on Animal Hospital, but also on a range of other programmes including Match of the Day, drama from the Barbican theatre and Prodigy concerts in Spain and France .
Since becoming freelance there have been less opportunities to supervise, but I’ve still been asked to supervise various programmes for the BBC including "The Experiment" and EastEnders for BBC Resources and "Songs of Praise" for Tern television.
