The beach near Dyrhólaey | ||
Dyrhólaey is a notable promontory of land on the southern Icelandic coast. From the top there are fantastic views along the black sand coasts with massive rocky outcrops protruding from the beaches. |

Taken with a Canon EOS camera with a 24-85mm zoom lens at about 50mm using a polarising filter on colour negative film. Somehow the drama of the black sand beaches is more intense in black and white. |
